Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan 2 will have a western release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC via Steam, and Xbox One, the company announced at Tokyo Game Show 2017.
The title serves as a sequel to 2016’s Attack on Titan game (known as Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom in Europe), and is not to be confused with Spike Chunsoft’s 3DS game Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates.
Attack on Titan 2 is set during the show’s second season and is a hack-and-slash affair, allowing players to control various different Titans from the series. The game will also offer new challenges for players to take on, newly improved omni-directional mobility gear to try on, and more advanced RPG elements.
Koei Tecmo will announce the game’s release date at a later time, as it only currently only has a release window of early 2018.
